On Saturday the 1st of September, the long awaited ”XXX Torneo Robinson Classic“ took place in Vall d’Or Golf.
Modality of game was single Stableford, with prizes for the first and second qualified of the first and second Ladies’ and Gents’ category, as wells as the scratch winners.
Unfortunately no player was lucky enough to make a hole in one on Hole nº15, where they could have won a car sponsored by Renault Llucmajor. Also there were prizes for the lady and gentleman who achieved the ball nearest to the palm tree on hole nº16.
The buffet which preceded the awards ceremony was the “icing on the cake” for this wonderful day of golf.
The charitable character of the competition needs to be highlighted. It is already the sixth year in a round, that thanks to the contribution of all the participants, alongside with contributions of the different partner companies and the collection which was obtained in the hilarious auction, directed by the CEO of Robinson Club for Spain and Portugal Mr. Monti Galmés, the latter was able to hand over a cheque with the beautiful figure of 21.135€, for the “Fundación RafaNadal”, to Mr. Rafael Nadal. uncle of the Majorcan tennis’ star.
