On saturday, the 10th of August, Vall d’Or Golf hosted the Bodegas Marqués de Velilla Golf Trophy for the eleventh consecutive year, wineries located in the small town of La Horra, Burgos, which were founded in the year 1985, moment from which they have become a reference for the denomination of origin Ribera del Duero.

The competition was held under the fun-guaranteed-modality “Four ball best ball” and began simultaneously for all participants at 09:30 am.

Once the competition was over, all the players gathered on the terrace of the Club Restaurant to enjoy an exquisite buffet paired with the red wine Marqués de Velilla and the white wine Viña de Mercado, which preceded the ceremony of prizegiving, that Israel Rodríguez, Managing Director of Vall d’Or Golf, led, accompanied by José Hernández de Mercado, owner of Bodegas Marqués de Velilla,  who actively participated and also addressed some kind words to all those present.

A great prize draw, courtesy of the winery, put the culmination to a great day of golf.
