Last Saturday, on June the30th, Vall d’Or Golf received the fourth “Charity Tournament A.L.M.A.“, whose proceeds will go to the opening of a youth cultural center in Manacor, managed by the City Council of this municipality. The game’s modality was “Stableford Individual” and the start was simultaneous at 9:30 am.
Prizes were given to the first 2 classified of the first and second ladies’ and gentlemen’ categories, as well as to the scratch winners. The winners of the longest drive and the nearest to the pin (both ladies and gentlemen) also received their corresponding gift.
The participants enjoyed a great day of golf with two delicious refreshment points located on the tees 1 and 10, as well as free “buggy-bar” service during the entire tournament.
Once the competition was over, both players and companions gathered on the terrace of the Restaurant Máxime, in Vall d’Or Golf, in order to enjoy an unforgettable afternoon. The latter started with the welcome speeches by Israel Rodríguez, Managing Director of Vall d’Or Golf, and of Katja Maier, President of the ALMA Association, who was also joined by Michaela Lange, co- founder of the Association.
After enjoying a succulent barbecue buffet, began the awards ceremony, followed by one of the most anticipated moments by all attendees, a spectacular tombola. Consisting in: Several places at various hotels in Central Europe, as well as an infinity of enormously attractive gifts. In addition, as a cherry on top there was an exciting auction in which the main course was one of the rackets used by the champion Rafael Nadal in the 2011 Roland Garros final in which he beat Roger Federer. One of the Attendees came to offer € 7,000 to be able to get it.
The final collection was around € 41,000!!
