Local rules

PREFERRED LIE RULE:

A BALL THAT COMES TO REST IN ANY CLOSELY MOWN AREA OF THE COURSE MAY BE LIFTED; CLEANED AND PLACED NOT MORE THAN A CARD AWAY FROM ITS ORIGINAL POSITION. ONCE PLACED THE BALL IS IN PLAY (IT CAN NOT BE MOVED AGAIN). THE BALL MUST BE MARKED BEFORE LIFTED.

PATHWAYS:

ALL THE ASPHALTED PATHWAYS ARE IMMOVEABLE OBSTRUCTIONS. RELIEF CAN BE OBTAINED ACCORDING TO RULE 24.2.B. OTHER PATHS ARE INTEGRAL PART OF THE COURSE.

STONES IN BUNKER:

STONES IN BUNKER ARE CONSIDERED MOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS YOU MAY OBTAIN RELIEF ACCORDING TO RULE 24.1.

EMBEDDED BALL:

A BALL EMBEDDED IN ITS OWN PITCH-MARK, IN ANY AREA OF THE COURSE, EXCEPT AN OBSTRUCTION OR A HAZARD, MAY BE LIFTED, CLEANED, AND DROPPED AT A MAXIMUM DISTANCE OF A CLUBS’ LENGTH, NOT GETTING NEARER TO THE HOLE.

HAZARDS HOLE 3 AND 8:

ON HOLE 3, NEAR THE GREEN, THE WOODEN WALL THAT BORDERS THE HAZARD IS CONSIDERED INTEGRAL PART OF THE LATTER. ON HOLE 8 THE STONE WALLS BORDERING THE LAKES ARE CONSIDERED PART OF THE HAZARD.THE DROPPING ZONE FROM HOLE 3 IS ONLY IN CASE THE BALL SHOULD COME TO REST ON THE HAZARD.

STAKES AND ROPES:

ALL THE STAKES AND ROPES OF THE COURSE ARE IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS, YOU MAY TAKE RELIEF ACCORDING TO RULE 24.2.B.

OUT OF BOUNDS: 

ARE MARKED WITH FENCES, WALLS, BARRIERS, WHITE STAKES AND/ OR PAINTED WHITE LINES. A BALL WHICH CROSSES THE PUBLIC ROAD IS CONSIDERED TO BE OUT OF BOUNDS, EVEN IF IT COMES TO REST ON ANOTHER PART OF THE COURSE.

INTERNAL OUT OF BOUNDS:

THE BLACK AND WHITE STAKES BETWEEN HOLE 13 AND 16 DEFINE THE OUT OF BOUNDS, WHILSTPLAYING HOLE 13, AND ARE IMMOVEABLE OBSTRUCTIONS WHEN PLAYING HOLE 16.

NOTE:

– THE MEASUREMENT OF THE HOLES IS UP TO THE CENTER OF THE GREEN.

– THE RED AND WHITE STAKES MARK 492 FT TO THE ENTRANCE OF THE GREEN

– THE BLUE AND WHITE STAKES MARK 328 FT TO THE ENTRANCE OF THE GREEN.
